A common misconception in commercial office renovation is that certain area has to be at an assumed location based on impression. For example, stockroom has to be at the back of the room, at the furthest end from the entrance. It does not necessarily be so. By placing it far end to the entrance/exit makes stock-in & stock-out inconvenient, and may create disturbance to the office operations. In the process, the flooring in between may wear off prematurely.

If stockroom can be place near to the entrance, with appropriate locks and security measure, stock-in & stock-out will take lesser time with much more convenience.
